ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING POSTERS
Posters can be submitted in the following Categories:
- Professional
- Students
DEADLINE: 28 FEBRUARY 2021
A. Guidelines for Professional Category:
Academic Faculty / Researchers / Scientists / Post – Graduate Students – Masters / Pharm. D. Students who have already earned the Bachelors degree in Pharmacy.
- Only One Author (Representative Author) and Max 3 Co-Authors acceptable for Professional Posters.
- Academic faculty, researchers, scientists, post graduate students pursuing Masters degree and Pharm.D. Students who have already earned the Bachelor’s degree. (e.g. baccalaureate degree; B.S. or B.Pharm.).
- Presence of Author (Representative Author) mandatory for acceptance of Poster Submission.
- Representative Author who does not confirm participation in attending the event personally and paying the Poster fee will be rejected even if the Submission Code has been assigned.
- Preliminary Acceptance letter will clearly state that poster acceptance is conditional and will be completed only after the due fee is paid and author confirmation to attend the event.
- No correspondence will be entertained for any poster rejected by the Organizers.
B. Guidelines for Student Category :
Students studying Bachelors degree in Pharmacy & Students directly pursuing Pharm. D. without having earned the Bachelors degree.
- Students studying pharmacy and have not earned any Pharmacy degree at the time the event is being held.
- The Main Author, will be considered as Representative Author for the poster. Additional names will be considered as Co-Authors. Maximum of 4 Co-Authors can be listed per poster.
- Presence of one Representative Author at the Event is mandatory for acceptance of Poster submission.
- Poster submission will be rejected if the Representative Author does not confirm participation in attending the event personally.
- Preliminary Acceptance letter will clearly state that poster acceptance is conditional based on the confirmation of Representative Author attending the event personally.
- No correspondence will be entertained for any poster rejected by the Organizers.
INFORMATION FOR DISPLAY & evaluation of POSTER
- All poster abstract submissions should be done by 28 th February 2021.
- The abstract summary should be a max of 300 words
- Only posters of registered delegates will be considered
For Evaluation:
- Once poster is accepted and upon registration, you are required to submit a video (3 - 5 mins.) A link to the video needs to be uploaded, explaining the content of the poster. Note the author explaining the poster should be seen (not for the entire duration) as well as the complete poster. This video will be used for evaluation by the panel of jury. The video can be uploaded in youtube , vimeo, dailymotion, and a link can be uploaded in the abstract portal.
- The poster image needs to be displayed in the background while presenting.
- Only one photo and one video per poster will be accepted.
- The Main Author needs to present the video
- The Poster will be evaluated by a Panel of Jury and results announced on the final day of the event.
- Photograph of the Poster and Video should be submitted before 25th March 2021 in order to be included in the Competition.
- Only posters wherein photos and videos have been submitted will be evaluated.
For displaying at the venue:
- The posters will be displayed digitally at the venue during the days of the event. No paper posters will be accepted or displayed in DUPHAT 2021.
- Posters will be displayed on 50″ TV screens 3840 (Height) x 2160 (Width) pixels, rotated over the course of the event
- Poster image must be submitted within 3 weeks from acceptance of the poster
- DIGITAL Poster Format Guidelines: • The poster orientation should be in the Vertical Format (like the usual paper poster) • The poster file resolution should be 3840 (Height) x 2160 (Width) pixels. • The poster file format / extension should be .JPG • The poster file size should not exceed 50MB • The Font Size should be 25 points and above for the text to be readable on the screen
- those who register for the event will be entitled for the competition and awards. Those who register, submit photo and video but do not attend will get a Participation certificate.
Poster Certificates & Awards
- Certificates: Only ONE certificate will be provided for each Professional poster. Participation certificate to only the representative author who has registered, submitted the poster and attended the event.
- For student posters: all registered as Poster presenters (maximum 3 Students for each poster), and who attend the event will be provided with a certificate. The e-conference booklet will have all the authors if the poster has more than 3 authors.
- Poster images & Videos not submitted within the deadline even after the registration fee is paid will not be entitled to the certificate.
